My First Blog

One more new experience - I have a Blog!!!
It's fantastic how my life changed since I came to Canada. First I had to change all my routine, instead of working 12 hours a day, I started to study (English) "only" 8 or 9 hours a day and now I have a lot of free time to me and to my family. After a while, I started the LEAP program at University of Calgary. That was another big change: come back to University. I had been out of one university for more than 15 years! It was a chalenge but with great new experiences.
The Leap program allowed me to be integrated with the university life and I could learn much more than I could immagine. The most important skill that I could improve in the program, and I am improving yet, is writing. The way Canadians write essays is very different from the Brazilians: Introduction, Topic Sentences, Concluding paragraphs, etc...

It is a very special way to learn...

I'm glad you think that studying for 8 or 9 hours a day is relaxing! Enjoy it while you can :-)

It also amazes me that you are studying 8 or 9 hours a day and you are relaxing. I have been trying for a year. I haven't succeeded. Maybe, I succeeded when I was studying for admission test, but I am trying right now, but I am not succeding. Any ways, welcome for coming to university from me on behalf of the newly university students and go0OD LUUCCCKKKK!!!!!!

Your writing skills are great. I am not sure if I could ever reach your level of writing. Your essay devoted to the theme "How to English" was brilliant.

It sounds "a little bit" terrible~ Do you know, you are my idol~ You are really brilliant in Leap program!! Your experiences showed me that I have to spend enough time on studying~~ However, I am lazy......but I'll try!!
